Item and Equipments

Items are an essential too to a characters arsenal. A versatile character uses any weapon, item, or armor to change the course of combat by capitalizing on the offense, defense, or utility they provide. This guide will help you navigate through the diverse options characters tools can provide, how they are obtained, and in what ways the tools can be augmented to blend into players unique styles.

All types of Items needs to be posted in the Item Section of the Forum with the Template provided for approval. Please make sure to read the guide fully before posting the Item. Players may consult with Rebirth RPG Staff before posting if required.

Item Types

There are a total of five item types that are explained below.

Weapon: Swords, Shuriken, Kunai, rifles, bow and arrow. Weapons are offensive tools used to combat and damage an enemy. Most weapons are not worn but held in a user's hands to be used effectively. It can be blunt, sharp, or sometimes both.

Armor: A defensive tool against enemy weapons and attacks. Armor can be effective against specific attacks and weapons depending on the type of armor and its use. There are two types of armor on the forum, one called ‘Physical Armor’ and the other ‘Aura Armor.’ Physical Armors are strong against physical attacks like a sword thrust and physical armors are weak to Aura damage. Aura Armors possess the same strengths and weaknesses, but this is reversed: they are strong against Aura damage and weak against Physical damage.

Consumable: A one time use item such as Smoke Bombs, Bandages, Etc. Items can be used offensively and defensively but are not classified as weapons or armor. Almost anyone with some skill can use simple and diverse items. Consumables can only be taken or used by a character once per topic.

Material: Rare objects that power up a characters tool using the augmentation guidelines.

Item Shops

The site provides three types of shops for players to use. Each item entry has a link to its associated application. Please read these, as some item requires additional purchases or requirement beyond paying Ryo. Each shop offers a place to buy and sell their wares (depending on the product), which is explained below.

Village Shops: Village Shops are located in the Village of their Region. Here, players can purchase tools at a fair price. The players can also sell their wares to the shop for 50% of their value. Reply with your purchases or sales in the shop thread and appropriate changes to your Inventory and Ryo will be made by the Staff.

Player Shops: The Player Shop is located in the Shopping Mall of the Hunter Association. Here, players can sell, trade and buy tools at a price determined by the seller, trader and buyer. Reply with your purchases or sales in the shop thread and appropriate changes to your Inventory and Ryo will be made by the Staff.

Diamond Shop: The Diamond Shop is located in the Shopping Mall of the Hunter Association. The items in the shop are purchased by Diamonds which supports the forum. Reply with your purchases or sales in the shop thread and appropriate changes to your Inventory and Ryo will be made by the Staff.
